The campsite Big Bend Creek Upper Big River State Forest Victoria Australia is one of many camping areas situated in the Upper Big River State Forest. The Forest is app.130 km north east of Melbourne, and around 30km east of Marysville. The Upper Big River State Forest is a popular area with anglers, motorcycle riders, mountain bike riders, kayakers and bushwalkers with many kilometres of forest roads and tracks.
Three of the larger camping areas in the Upper Big River State Forest – Stockmans Reward Campsite, Frenchmans Creek Campsite and Big River Campsite are suitable for small caravans and large group activities. Please note this campsite is accessible with a 2WD vehicle, however following heavy or extended rain a 4WD is required to access the campground. Access to Big Bend Camping is from signpost off Big River Road, app. 3 kilometres east of Vennells Camping area.
