Cape Otway Campsite
The Cape Otway campsite is located app. 10 kilometres from Blanket Bay and is located on the scenic Great Ocean Walk. The Cape Otway campsite is a walk-in only camping area and is located app. 600 metres from the Cape Otway Lighthouse. This camping site is set in coastal woodlands with Manna Gums attracting regular visits from the local koala population. Facilities are limited; there are 2 untreated rainwater tanks, two composting toilets, a three-sided shelter with camp table and seats. At the Cape Otway campground, there are 8 individual campsites with a maximum of 3 persons per site. From the Blanket Bay campsite to Cape Otway campsite is app. 10km, which will take you app. 3-4 hours to walk. The walk is graded as easy to medium. Each campsite at Cape Otway is app. 3.5 x 3.5 metres and will accommodate 1 x 3 man tent, 2 x 1 man, 1 x 1 man tent & 1 x small 2 person tent. All sites are unpowered and must be booked.
