The Great Otway National Park surrounds the Kennett River and provides a stunning backdrop. When camping Kennett River Holiday Park, you’ll enjoy a safe and pristine beach, and one of a handful that are patrolled on the Great Ocean Road between Lorne and Apollo Bay. The beach is loved by local surfers for its reliable point break, and is just a short walk across the Great Ocean Road. There are a lot of Australian native animals at the Kennett River Holiday Park, being a great location to see Koalas, native birds (including king parrots, rosellas and kookaburras), dolphins, seals and even the occasional whales. Grey River Road, which runs behind the Kennett River Caravan Park, is a popular area for Koala spotting. This road also takes you up to the temperate rain forest of the Great Otway National Park where you can see the colony of Glow Worms by night. Kennett River Holiday Park features a variety of accommodation options including non-powered tent sites, powered sites for caravans and motorhomes and self-contained cabins which are very popular and offer amazing views of the Kennett River Point. There are strictly NO PETS allowed at the Kennett River Caravan Park.
