Lake Monibeong Camping

Camping Lake Monibeong Nelson Victoria, Ottways South-West camping costs apply, no dogs area is suitable for smaller rigs and tent camping. Lake Monibeong campground is located beside Lake Monibeong and is set among coastal vegetation.  Advance bookings and payment are required, open for booking on 1 July each year on a first come, first served basis. Bookings are advised for the peak period from Melbourne Cup Weekend in November through to the last Sunday in April each year and in particular Labour Day weekend (minimum booking 3 nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Easter (minimum booking 4 nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), Melbourne Cup weekend (minimum booking 4 nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday). There are 10 campsites available in total, with each suitable for a maximum of 6 people per site. All campsites are unpowered and are suitable for one camper-trailer or a medium-sized tent. There are flush toilets, a shared picnic table, lake water which must be treated before drinking and a shared fireplace. Fires strictly only in designated fireplaces provided, and you must supply your own wood. Fuel stoves are recommended, as is carrying your own supply of fresh drinking water.
