Meredith Park Camping Area

Meredith Park camping area, Colac Victoria Australia is a free campground with 30 campsites. This is a popular free campsite located on the edge of Lake Colac – see also Lake Colac Caravan Park. You can typically camp quite close to Lake Colac, however, this will depend upon water level of the lake ad amount of rain that has fallen. Popular lakeside campground on the edge of Lake Colac. Meredith Park camping area has a boat ramp with most campsites level and grassy but offering minimal shade. Canoeing and kayaking are popular on Lake Colac, so make sure you take them with you if you are into kayaking. Meredith Park has wood-fired barbecues, however, you must carry your own firewood. There is no rubbish collection so take your own rubbish and leave the campsite clean for the next campers at Lake Colac. There are good flushing toilets as well as town drinking water available. This is a council maintained campground and the area is patrolled. You are not able to book campsites at Meredith Park, which are available on a first come, first served basis.
