Tarpaulin Bend is one of the free Murray-Kulkyne bush campinggrounds. Tarpaulin Bend camping area is accessed via the River Track and is signposted about 4 kilometres along. From the turn off, it is around 3.5 kilometres to the river. The camping ground is accessed by continuing along the main track and past the information board.
Dogs are permitted at this camping area. The campground is suitable for tents, camper trailers and caravans. Campers must be self-sufficient and bring water and fuel/gas stove. Tarpaulin Bend is a great camp location for those interested in water based activities
