Free camping Hiscocks Crossing, camp for free Hiscocks Crossing campground – no camping close to the river in picnic areas is not permitted – it is not possible to book a campsite at Hiscocks Crossing campsites, they are available on a first come, first served basis. There is reasonable 2WD access to Hiscocks Crossing camping area via gravel roads. Access for vehicles towing caravans is not recommended because of the road conditions. These campsites are best suited to tents and camper trailers, and all sites are non-powered. There are toilets, but they are non-flushing and there is no drinking water. Campfires are OK, however, please adhere strictly to local rules including any fire bans that may be in place. Dogs are permitted but must remain on a lead at all times. This campsite is located in the Crawford River Regional Park

Access from Dartmoor, head South-west for app. 12.5k on the Princes [A1] Hwy. Turn left 3.5k on the East Greenwald Rd, and then right 4.4k on Proudfoot Rd which is gravel. Turn right after 500m through the riverside picnic ground just before the Crawford River bridge.
