About
Lake Hattah campgrounds are the main camping spots in the Hattah-Kulkyne National Park, north-west Victoria. The camping area is very big and dispersed around the lake. There are 14 unpowered sites that require bookings and payment year round. These can be made in advance on the parkweb.vic.gov.au website. A camping site costs approx. $28 per night. Visit the website for more information.
The camping grounds are located close to the National Park entrance 300 metres from the visitor and information centre. Campers are required to be self-sufficient and carry their own drinking water and a stove. There are some facilities at these campsites and there is some firewood available. The camping spot is picturesque and a lot of wildlife can be seen around the lake. Please adhere to the guidelines outlined at the visitor centre. No dogs or pets allowed.
Kayaking, swimming and fishing are very popular activities at these camping spots. Hiking around the lake and nature trails are available too.
