Neds Gully Camping
Campsites Neds Gully Cathedral Range State Park Victoria
Neds Gully Campground is located in the Cathedral Range State Park Victoria Australia and is accessible off Little River Rd at the northern entrance to the park. From where you park your vehicle it’s a 50-metre walk to the campsites via a swing bridge. An easy walk leads from Neds Gully Campground to Cooks Mill along Little River. For bushwalkers after a more challenging walk, follow the trail to Neds Saddle where you can take the steep, difficult track heading west to Cathedral Peak. See also: Cooks Mill Camping Area
This walk-in camping area is family friendly and located by Little River. DOGS are not permitted; you must be self-sufficient to camp at Neds Gully.
Bookings – Advance bookings and payment are required to camp at the Neds Gully Campground. Individual sites cannot be booked in advance, but rather you select your campsite within the campground on arrival.
Facilities – Fireplaces are available onsite. The fireplaces do not include a cooking plate so you will need to bring you own. There are non-flush toilets arelocated across the bridge in the car parking area. There is information available at Neds Gully.
Campsites – There is a total of 15 campsites available accommodating a maximum of 6 people each. Campsites are suitable for tents only and are located 50m from the car park.
Campfire – Firewood collection is prohibited in the park but can be purchased from the nearby towns of Taggerty or Buxton. It is highly recommended that you bring a portable gas stove or similar for cooking.
Water – You must carry your own drinking water. Some water is available from Little River but it is not suitable for drinking.
Rubbish – There is no rubbish collection at this campground; all rubbish must be taken with you.
