Free 4WD bush campsite, Miners Flat Campground Upper Big River State Forest Victoria Australia. There is no charge to camp at Miners Flat Camping Area, dogs are permitted but yo must carry your own food, water and firewood. Miners Flat Campsite is yet another of the camping areas off Big River Rd and that is accessible by 4WD vehicles only. Miners Flat Campsite is located on the eastern side of a sweeping bend in Big River; it’s one of the first riverside campsites you’ll reach on the drive into Upper Big River State Forest if coming from Marysville. There are no facilities at the Miners Flat Campground; there are 2 campsites at Miners Flat.
