Kinglake National Park

Kinglake National Park is the largest national park in Victoria located close to Melbourne and allows camping at The Gums Campsite. It has some 22,000 hectares of tall forests, fern gullies and rolling hills. Kinglake National Park is very popular with bushwalkers and has an extensive network of walking tracks and vantage points offering scenic views. The Gums Camping Area is set next to a babbling mountain stream and is set amongst tall eucalypts and ferns. This peaceful area is a popular base for relaxing or exploring the northern section of the Kinglake National Park. The Gums campground is ideal for families and smaller groups – there is a total of 18 campsites, 5 are suitable for caravans up to 6 metres in length, not including the annex. Each campsite is surrounded by vegetation providing a typical Australian bush setting. See: National Parks Victoria.
