Camping Colac Victoria
The small town of Colac is situation some 80 kilometres west of Geelong on the Princes Highway and around 150 kilometres south-west of Melbourne and offers camping at caravan options at Lake Colac Caravan Park, Central Caravan Park Colac and Meredith Park Camping Colac. Colac sits on the shore of Lake Colac and surrounding volcanic plains, approximately 40 kilometres inland from Bass Strait. Colac is the largest city in an administrative centre of the Colac Otway Shire, and as at the 2016 census had a population of some 12,000 people.
