About
The Paddlewheel Camping Area
The Paddlewheel campsite is a free bush camping area on the banks of the Murray River, Murray-Kulkyne Regional Park, Victoria. It can be reached by heading north on River Track for almost 2.5 kilometres form the park’s southern entrance. Alternatively, it can also be accessed just over 1 kilometre south of The Boiler camping area access signpost.
The Paddlewheel camp grounds are set on a secluded bend of the Murray. Ideal for people looking for some quiet time to enjoy the nature or those with a love of water-based activities. Dogs are permitted to camp here too. Campers must be self-sufficient as these camping spots do not have any facilities.
