About
The Blue Gums campsite is located in the Big Desert State Forest in Victoria’s north west. The free bush camping areas are spread out in a large, open area south of Mallee Highway. The campsites are located on the sign posted Blue Gums Track, approximately 350 metres south of the Firebreak track. The area is approximately 5 kilometres west of the Murrayville track and almost 7 kilometres east of the Coburns Track. The camp grounds can only be accessed in dry weather conditions. Campers must be self-sufficient, carry all drinking water and carry all rubbish out with them. Although there are some wood barbeques available, campers must supply firewood. There are a few picnic tables at the campsite. No dogs or pets allowed.
