Campground O’Tooles Flat Lake Eildon National Park
This campsite at Lake Eildon National Park is a remote bush campsite popular with hunters during deer season (Sambar Deer).
Dogs are not permitted at any time at this campsite, which is adjacent to the Gap Track, and app. 800m from the Eildon-Jamieson Road. There are no toilets or picnic facilities at O’Tooles Campground, you must be fully self-sufficient to camp here. Fires are permitted, but only in designated Parks Victoria provided fireplaces. There is no phone reception at this camping area. Satellite phones or radios are recommended.
There is no phone reception at this camping area; there are no fees and bookings can’t be made. Camping is on a first-come, first served basis and when full you will need to find another location.
This campsite at O’Tooles is a large, grassy area surrounded by a natural barrier of tall trees. To access this site, you travel via Donnelly Creek Track, which you’ll find signposted off Walhalla Rd. You will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access reach O’Tooles, and also to access much of the network of forest tracks in this area. Camping Lake Eildon
