Mountaineer Inlet Camping Area
Campgrounds Lake Eildon Mountaineer Inlet
Mountaineer Inlet campsite is located in the northern section of Lake Eildon National Park, and is a remote campsite accessible via boat or walking only. It is a camping area in Victoria where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The camping area is situated on Stone Bay, and is popular with canoeists or kayakers and bushwalkers who access Mountaineer Inlet campsite by hiking in along a network of bushy tracks. Other more remote campsites for camping Lake Eildon accessible by walking or by boat are Taylor’s Creek and Coopers Point. Facilities at these remote campsites Victoria include composting toilets and fireplaces at Taylors Creek and Mountaineer Inlet.
Fees don’t apply to this campground, and no bookings are possible. Camping is on a first-come, first served basis.
