The campground Rye Foreshore Reserve Melbourne Victoria is a very popular camping area, especially with families and at Christmas, Easter and school holidays. The Rye foreshore camping reserve is set in a truly beautiful location along 2km of white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. There are 174 campsites at Rye Foreshore Reserve Camping. At this campsite, you will find shower and toilet blocks, grassy areas shaded by large trees that are great for camping in tents, multiple kids’ play areas, barbecues, boat launching ramps. The Rye village is located immediately near this campsite Rye, where you can buy food. The Rye Foreshore reserve is managed by the Mornington Shire.
Foreshore camping at the Rye Foreshore Reserve Camping is available from the last weekend of October (in time for the Melbourne Cup long weekend) through until after Easter in April. There is no camping available at the Rye Foreshore outside these times. The foreshore camping grounds offer both powered and non-powered sites and is suitable for big rigs, campervans, camper trailers, caravans and tents. Bookings can be made online, however, please ensure you read the Conditions of Camping for essential information you need to know before you camp at Rye Foreshore.
There are two different camping sections for Rye Foreshore. Off-peak rates for a powered site are from $145 per week, $100 for a non-powered site. These rates rise to $355 and $250 respectively during peak periods – 16 Dec 2017 to 27 Jan 2018.
