The Suspension Bridge camping area is located in the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve and is signposted off Murrindindi Rd, some 200 m north of the Blackwood access. The Suspension Bridge campsite is suitable for tent based camping and for smaller caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The campsites Suspension Bridge are generally very good and have fire pits, plenty of room for tents and smaller vans and parking bays. There are flushing toilets at Suspension Bridge, and also a few drop toilets scattered throughout the reserve. As an added bonus, there are several excellent bushwalks for campers to enjoy. If you are into fishing, there are opportunities to go fly fishing in this reserve. Most campsites and picnic areas in the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve have well-constructed fireplaces and picnic tables – campers are requested to keep fires in the fireplaces provided.

The cost to camp in the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve is app. $6 per car, per night. A small van is $17, large vehicles are $28 per night. A motorhome is classed as a car. Registration is via an honesty box at the Information Board. Murrindindi Scenic Reserve is patrolled by a ranger who checks that camping fees have been paid.
