The Railway Creek Camping Area Victoria Australia is located immediately to the north of the picnic area at Enoch Point, and is accessible from Point Rd, which runs off Big River Rd. The Railway Creek Camping Area is accessible only by 4WD, and you must carry your own firewood and drinking water. Keen fishermen and anglers will want to try their luck at catching a brown trout for dinner in Railway Creek. At Enoch Point there are remnants of the alluvial mining that once took place here, which will be of interest to holidaymakers in this region. A short drive away from Railway Creek Camping Area are other places worth visiting, including Mt Torbreck, Snobs Creek Falls, Mt Terrible, Lake Eildon National Park and the township of Jamieson. A number of camping areas exist further south on Big River Rd (Upper Big River camping areas) and are accessible via Big River Rd from the north or Marysville from the south.
