Description
Starlings Gap Campground is located in the Yarra State Forest, Victoria Australia and is accessed from Big Creek Road. You will find signposted access off Black Sands Road, near the Yarra Junction, Noojee Road. The turnoff to Starlings Gap campsite is just south of the town of Gladysvale. This is a very basic campsite, with limited facilities only including basic toilets, a firepot, picnic table and shelter. Bushwalking is popular in this area; dogs are OK and it is recommended that you carry your own fresh water and firewood. This campsite is NOT suited to big rigs, but rather tent cased camping only. This is a very popular area for wine growing, and with visitors who go to the area for wine tasting. Upper Yarra Wineries.
