Campground Fishbone Flat Upper Big River State Forest Victoria Australia is signposted off Big River Road, some 3 kilometres east of Petroffs Camping Area.
The Fishbone Flat campsite is accessible only by 4WD vehicles; camping is very basic bush camping with no facilities. You must carry your own water, food and firewood and remove all rubbish. Dogs are Ok but must be kept under control at all times; there are no bookings possible and camping is free.
Fishing is popular in the Upper Big River State Forest – as is trail riding, bushwalking, kayaking and mountain biking.
Fishbone Flat Camp Area is a relatively small bush campsite shaded by tall gums next to a small ferny creek.
