About
Nolan’s Creek Campground is located some 10.5 kilometres west of the Victorian town of Blackwood on Lerderberg Road, which is part of the Wombat State Forest Drive. This is very basic bush camping – there are no facilities and you must carry your own water and firewood. Dogs are permitted but must be kept under control. A ranger patrols the area. Horse riding, bushwalking and mountain biking are popular activities in this region. THere are 3 camping sites at this location, and bookings are not accepted so camping is offered on a first come, first served basis. You will find the Nolans Creek Campground to be a pleasant place to camp, which is surrounded by forest. There is a grassed area suitable for picnics with shelter and barbecues and an area to park next to the Lerderderg River. The bush camping area is located opposite the picnic area. Please contact 136186 before camping at Nolans Creek. See also: Free Camping Victoria
