Campground Fairhaven French Island

Located on the west coast foreshore of French Island Victoria Australia, this is an idyllic overnight place to camp in a natural setting. Access to the camping area Fairhaven French Island Victoria is off Coast Road. Camping at the Fairhaven Camping area is free of charge, but bookings must be made online at the Victorian Parks Website. Book Fairhaven Campground You can also book by calling 131963 (during business hours). There are a total off 20 campsites accommodation a maximum of 2 people per campsite. Non-flush toilets are provided. Open fires are not permitted at any time as the island’s vegetation is highly combustible; please carry a portable gas stove or similar for cooking. Some water is available but it is not suitable for drinking; it is imperative you carry your own drinking water. There is no rubbish collection at the Fairhaven campground – all rubbish must be taken with you.The Fairhaven campsites are set in a picturesque natural setting on the western shore of French Island, and app. 5 km north of Tankerton off Coast Rd. This is a popular campground where you can relax in nature for a few days whilst you have look out for long-nosed potoroos and koalas, which are common when camping French Island.
