There is a signpost directing you to the Mount Franklin Reserve located off the Midland Highway some 10.5 kilometres north of the Victorian country town of Daylesford and just over 4km north of the Hepburn Springs access road. The Mount Franklin Reserve Camping area is a large, attractive grasses campground perfect for short-stay camping. You must carry your own firewood and water, dogs on leads are OK. This campground Mount Franklin Reserve is suitable for campervans, camper trailers, motorhomes and caravans. You can camp for short stays at Mt Franklin Reserve on a first come first served basis; there are no fees and no bookings can be made. Toilets, fireplaces and washing water are provided – camping is also available in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs in commercial caravan parks which are adjacent to the park.
