Surrey Ridge Camping Area

Surrey Ridge Camping Area, Heywood west of Portland Victoria Australia is located in a forest, approximately 20kms south-west of Heywood via Caton Flat, Jackeys Swamp and Cut Out Dam roads with part of the road being gravel, but suitable for bigger rigs. Pets are OK, and there are long-drop toilets, however, you need to be largely self-sufficient to camp at the Surrey Ridge Camping Area Heywood. A ranger patrols the area and there is no cost to camp at Surrey Ridge picnic area. This area is popular with bushwalkers, and for bushwalking. Camping Jackass Fern Gully
